It was the Jewish Holiday’s recently. To celebrate the Jewish New Year Rosh Hashana and the holiest day of the year Yom Kippur every year we have a big meal and a break fast. Now every year for the Jewish New Year we have a tradition to bring in the new year with something sweet. Usually my wife and mother would cook for hours and bake for hours desserts and the meal. This year I wanted to start the new year off right. I told the ladies in my life that I was going to handle dessert this year. They looked at me with a surprised look and said “Are you sure”? I responded with a “Yes, how hard could hammantaschen be to bake”. Wow was I wrong. They are not easy to make and even harder to make tasty. Anyways I had the responsibility of supplying dessert now. I went to my favorite site www.cookieoutlet.com to help bail me out. They always have the best selection and prices for every holiday. They have more flavors of hammantaschen than I knew existed. I placed my order and it arrived fresh and quickly to my door. I put out a beautiful tray of hammantaschen and made the dessert special and delicious for everyone. This will be my new tradition yearly.
I happen to work six days a week and have a very high stressed job. When I get home I always need to find a way to unwind and relax to get my day of work out of me. I used to do Transcendental Meditation. That was working for a while until my time at home got limited due to the kids and their schedule. I was not able to get the time in needed to do my Transcendental Meditation. At work I spoke to a friend of mine who told me how he is able to unwind at home after work quickly and get on with his home and family life. At first I didn’t believe him when he told me that he was able to relax with cookies. I am a fan of cookies like most people but using them to relax seemed too crazy for me. He told me that he would go home put on some tea or coffee and take 5 cookies with him to his favorite chair uninterrupted. He would drink his coffee and eat his five cookies all in a leisurely time . By the time he finished his coffee and eat his cookies he would be relaxed in his chair within 10 minutes. He told me the best place to get cookies from that are always fresh and delivered to his door step. He goes to www.cookeioutlet.com and uses his acct to order from them. They have almost every type and variety of cookie you could think of. I am not using my cookies to keep calm and relax!!!
A very cool trick for keeping cool in the summer with cookies. First off go to www.cookieoutlet.com for the best selection of cookies. Second step is to buy rainbow layer cookies. Third step is to wait for the UPS driver to arrive at your place with the cookies. After they arrive open them up and eat one to make sure they are up to par. After you eat a couple more because that will automatically happen, get out some Ziploc bags. Put a good amount of rainbow cookies in each bag and put them in the freezer. Let them sit over night. The next day when it is hot outside and you are craving a sweet snack to cool off with, take out one of those bags and enjoy. It’s like eating an ice cream sandwich with no brain freeze. Once you try this there is no going back. They are delicious frozen. Enjoy!!!
I have wanted to share this secret for a while now with all the people that I could reach. Well here it is… The best trick in the world to beat the summer heat is to eat rainbow or tri-color cookies. Now you don’t just eat them as is, although they are delicious that way. You take a bunch of them put them in a Ziploc bag and store them in the freezer. When you have the urge to cool down and eat on you take it from the freezer and eat them frozen. They taste amazing and don’t give you any brain freeze like ice cream sandwiches. In my opinion I like them better frozen than thawed out. They get a little harder and when you bite the cookie it melts in your mouth. I advise everyone to try this at least one time. You won’t regret it.
I think that I am addicted to cookies. I really love them so much. I like all types of cookies. I am an equal opportunity cookie eater. I skip meals sometimes just to substitute them with cookies. When I was a child my mother would make me eat all my food before I could eat cookies. Now that I am older I cheat and skip straight to dessert. Not the best diet but they are so good. I get my cookie from the best site. They sell to all the bakeries and you could order from them directly. They are even less expensive than most bakeries. They have such a big selection even someone like me could find cookies they haven’t even eaten yet.
